Type-o?

I think we all can agree that when it comes to falling in love, we have no control over who we choose to fill that spot in our hearts. It kind of happens unexpectedly and without previous announcement, but i know that when it comes to finding ourselves attracted to a person, there are always those certain characteristics that makes the other sex automatically interesting for us.

Some women like their men blond, others like them tall or with perfect teeth. But in my case i seem to have an eye for the silky dark haired, dark eyed (preferably), cute smile type of guy. Funny enough i happened to be married to a man who not only is bald but has not so quite the dark eyes so...go figure!

Here's an example of what i'm talking about ;)

Penn Badgley

James Franco

Johnny Depp(of course)

Robert Downey Jr.

Gael Garcia Bernal

Timothy Olyphant

Hugh Jackman

Joseph Gordon-Levit (Cause he reminds me so much to my love Heath Ledger)

You see...I do have a "type" but i guess in my husband's case it was just a typo lol

Twitter anyone?

I have a twitter account, but i must admit that i kind of dislike the whole thing.
Sorry if i offend anybody but i can't seem to get interested in following people and read their unnecessary postings every five seconds. I understand how the concept can be very effective for companies, artist, bloggers, etc, but for regular people i find it to be nothing but useless. Maybe i'm just ranting, since i can't quite understand it 100%.
Who knows, maybe after i give a few more tries (again) i will come here and beg for people to follow me...but for now i don't need anybody knowing about my entire existence and what i do day to day, i already got a facebook account and i really don't need any stalker lol.

What about you? do you have a twitter account? do you like it or hate it?

One can only dream

When i was like 10 years old I fell in love with Italy.
It all started when me and my sister attended this Italian School "Nostra Signora Di Pompei" (Our Lady of Pompei) managed mostly by Italian catholic priests....or at least that's how i remember it. They would teach Italian as part of their school regular classes and i was really excited about it, i had made the decision that i was going to take advantage of it and learn it really good, only to discover that it was a subject to be teach until the 5th Grade and i was about to start the 6th grade. I was so sad and disappointed :(
My neighbor and best friend at the time, however, was a student at the same school since she was little and that's where she ultimately graduated from. She would have me practice her Italian homework with her and i would happily do it...What a little Nerd!
I learn quite a few things and the language was so captivating, that even now as a grownup i still find myself many times saying "I wish i could speak Italian"
I hope i can actually learn it one day.
I also hope i can go there on a trip and visit as many places as i can, take lots of pictures, eat until my belly hurts & drink wine and watch the sunset, hopefully with my significant other. :)
...:::Sigh:::...One can only dream
One day I'll be able to do it, for now i gotta travel the cheapest way i know....Google images Ha!!
Here are a few of my favorite pics so far....i hope you enjoy them ;)

Portofino

Venice

Torino

Florence

Tuscany
